Our Story
Melrose Kitsap Ventures was founded in December 2024, in the foothills of Agoura Hills, California — a quiet house built around a singular conviction: that luxury is a matter of attention, not abundance.
We grew out of a love for the slow disciplines — weaving, dyeing, goldsmithing, perfumery — and a frustration with the speed at which most of fashion now moves. Our answer is small: a single seasonal edit, made in deliberate quantities, designed to be worn and kept.
Every object we ship is the product of a relationship. The silk from a fourth-generation mill in Como. The gold reclaimed and reworked in a Los Angeles atelier. The fragrance composed in Grasse by a perfumer who has refused to scale. We name our makers, we visit them, and we pay them as partners.
California is more than an address. It is the light we design in — long, low, golden — and the openness we try to build into every piece.
Restraint
Fewer pieces, made better. A small edit each season, never repeated for repetition's sake.
Provenance
Materials traceable to a person, not a factory floor. Every collaborator named on request.
Patience
Garments and objects built to outlast the cycle that produced them. Repaired, not replaced.
